项目介绍 | Project Introduction

**东乡语是中国甘肃省东乡族自治县的主要少数民族语言，属于蒙古语族， 使用人口约 60 万人。由于缺乏数字化资源，东乡语在现代信息化交流中面临传承与保护的挑战。

本项目基于 NLLB (No Language Left Behind) 翻译模型进行微调，目标是构建 一个 东乡语 → 中文 的翻译系统。

Dongxiang language is spoken mainly in Dongxiang Autonomous County, Gansu Province, China, by around 600,000 people. It belongs to the Mongolic language family and is underrepresented in digital resources. This project aims to preserve and revitalize Dongxiang through technology.
